This protein chocolate mousse is going to be your go to sweet treat. It's a high-protein treat that satisfies all chocolate loves while fuelling your body. You can make it with simple ingredients, blend until smooth, and chill for a cool, rich dessert.
Serves 1-2
INGREDIENTS
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (whey, plant-based, or your preferred choice)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or any yogurt of your choice)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp almond milk (or any milk alternative)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2 tbsp sweetener of choice (like honey, maple syrup, or stevia) – adjust to taste
- A pinch of salt
Optional toppings: whipped cream, chocolate chips, berries, or nuts
METHOD
Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the protein powder, Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, almond milk, vanilla extract, sweetener, and a pinch of salt.
Blend: Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend everything together until it’s smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk until you reach your desired texture.
Chill: Transfer the mousse into serving bowls or glasses and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let it set.
Serve: Once chilled, top with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
