Savoury Muffins that are jam packed with collagen.. YES PLEASE! This savoury snack is perfect for a protein-packed breakfast or lunch. They’re easy to make, deliciously satisfying, and provide a wholesome way to incorporate collagen into your diet.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour or almond flour
1-3 teaspoons Inca Wellness Bioactive Collagen powder
1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar or Parmesan)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
1/2 cup chopped spinach
¼ cup of herbs of choice (optional)
Optional: any veggies or meat you have that you want to add into mixture
Method:
Preheat oven to 175°C
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, collagen powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs, olive oil, and milk.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients, and stir in the cheese and spinach/herbs.
Spoon the batter into muffin tins and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
